Celebrating International Women’s Day 2024

Peterbilt Pacific recognizes the importance of women within the workplace and the positive impact gender diversity brings to the industry. From management to behind the counter, Peterbilt Pacific is committed to attracting, growing and retaining a gender-diverse workplace while amplifying the voices of women within Peterbilt Pacific to create a more diverse and inclusive culture. For International Women’s Day, we asked female leaders to share their thoughts on the significance of this day and the importance of this celebration in 2024. Here is what they had to say.

Tifoni Grouette

Tifoni G, Truck Inventory Supervisor, Surrey

There’s something to be said about women working in a predominantly man’s world. Working for Peterbilt over 25 years, specifically in the sales department, I have primarily dealt with male co-workers and customers. Its great and makes me proud to be and feel like a respected female representative in this company. I love even more that women are being hired as parts and service technicians at many of our locations, recognizing that we too can be successful in this industry.

Natalia Grand-Maison, Service Advisor, Kamloops

I feel such a sense of pride and accomplishment working in this industry and for Peterbilt Pacific. I always say if I wasn’t such a princess I would be a tech and being a service advisor is the next best thing!  It has been refreshing to see the amount of strong women in leadership roles within this company, it’s truly motivating.  We need women and people from all different backgrounds in this industry or we would be staying stagnant.  We serve a wide range of customers from all different walks of life and they deserve the best. The only way to give them the best is to collaborate with an open mind.
